Wet weather on its way to Tampa Bay area, then cool temps

Wet weather is expected to push into the area late Thursday and Friday, which will be followed by cooling temperatures heading into the weekend.

Highs Thursday are expected to be in the mid to low 70s with a slight chance of rain, but the chance for wet weather increases to 80 percent on Friday. Temperatures then will cool rapidly.

Saturday should be sunny with a high in the mid 60s. Overnight lows may dip into the 50s over the weekend, while northern counties and inland areas could see lows in the 40s.
