• We'll be in court to watch a hearing in the Hulk Hogan vs. Gawker media sex tape case, as a judge is set to take up some news media outlets' appeals to obtain records relating to an FBI investigation into the matter.

• The Tampa City Council is set to meet at 9 a.m. and there's plenty on the council's agenda: The members will discuss their support for the Go Hillsborough transportation initiative, which has had a few rough weeks; they'll discuss whether the the city can acquire the 44-acre Marine Corps Reserve Center property north of Gandy Boulevard so the city could expand the neighboring A.J. • On the other side of the bay, the St. Petersburg City Council will meet at 8:30 a.m. to talk baseball. Council members will dig deep into the specifics of a proposed deal by Chairman Charlie Gerdes that would allow the Tampa Bay Rays to explore homes other than Tropicana Field.
