The mugginess continues unabated. Scattered thunderstorms dominate the weekend forecast, according to WTSP 10Weather, and highs will hover in the upper 80s yet again.

• Pope Francis spends his first full day in New York today, starting with an address to the United Nations General Assembly. Later he'll visit the 9/11 Memorial Museum and lead a procession through Central Park, finishing his day celebrating Mass in Memorial Square Garden. Lufthansa's first flight to Tampa is expected to land at TIA Friday about 4 p.m. The German airliner's CEO, Karl Ulrich Garnadt, is among the hundreds of people who will arrive on this inaugural flight to celebrate the new service to and from Frankfurt. Follow @SunBizGriffin for updates.
