Prizes and special discount offers will be available for all Sizzlin' Summer Times?Readers, including tickets and discount coupons to sporting events, museums, local attractions, and restaurants. Information about these specials can be found in the daily HOT SPOT (look in the classified section) and here on this Web page. Here are some ways you can win:

HOT SPOT Stuff

Every week, a different sponsor will give props to those of you who are, "In the know"and participating in our Summer Reader program. All you have to do is wear your Sizzling Summer Times Reader pin or cut out and bring the HOT SPOT ad to our participating sponsors during their HOT SPOT week.

Our weekly HOT SPOT prizes include a variety of ways to help make your summer the COOLEST? ever!

During Week One, you can visit a place devoted to teaching all races and cultures to recognize the inherent worth and dignity of human life. The Florida Holocaust Museum is offering free admission to you and your family.

On Week Three, it's time to get moving and stay cool! Head on over to your local YMCA and check out all of the awesome activities they have available including use of their fitness room and swimming pools (Pinellas, Pasco and Hillsborough Counties only).

On Week Four discover a place just for you at the Great Explorations Children's Museum. Explore exhibits like the mini grocery store, veterinary office, fire station and more!

?Week Five is time to celebrate! You can play indoors or outdoors at your choice of free miniature golf or laser tag at Celebration Station.

Week Six bring your family back to a museum and learn about the weird and wacky world of a famous eccentric artist at the Salvador Dali Museum. You get free admission and your family gets in for half price!

It's time to chill out on Week Seven and stop into a Circle K near you and treat yourself to a refreshing Icee!

Ahoy Mateys! Arrrrr ye ready to head to the other side of the bay? Week Eight has discount admission at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) and includes their Shipwreck Pirates and Treasure exhibit.

Week Ten is time for a cool way to sea life at the Florida Aquarium. You and your happy feet can tap on over to the penguin promenade, or get wet and wild at the Explore a Shore.

Have a ball on your last day of summer vacation! On Week 12, enjoy a baseball game at Tropicana Field on Sunday, August 19^th as you watch the Tampa Bay Devil Rays play the Cleveland Indians.

Be sure to check your mail for coupons for a free cheeseburger from McDonald's (Week Two) and a free 6 inch sub from Subway Restaurants (Week Nine).
