The good doctor acknowledges a Creator

Thank you for publishing Dr. Rao Musunuru's guest column. As Congressman Gus Bilirakis said in the Congressional Record, this good doctor has impacted the lives of many of our Pasco neighbors, family members and friends, not only through his medical skills and the state-of-the art medical facility he's given us, but through his conversations on a myriad of subjects in your newspaper over the years.

In his latest column, Dr. Musunuru, like the scientist Carl Sagan, showed how insignificant we humans are in the unimaginable expanse of this universe of billions of galaxies, and how significant we can be with our intelligence and capability of loving others.

Their one big difference is that Sagan did not see a Creator's hand in this miracle; but Dr. Musunuru, with all his knowledge, acknowledges that all we know and will know, is a gift from a Creator we can choose to call God.

I do not share the good doctor's certainty, but it is likely to be my failing, not his.

Pasco County is fortunate to have the good doctor, and his wisdom, for all seasons.
