Putnam outlines plan for Florida’s environmental future
BARTOW, Fla. – Congressman Adam Putnam has released his policy papers on environmental policy to share how he will lead these important issues as Florida’s next Commissioner of Agriculture. Putnam’s record proves that he has been a proud proponent of a proactive environmental plan for Florida’s sensitive ecosystem.
“As Commissioner of Agriculture, I will lead the Department in serving as strong stewards for Florida’s 1.1 million acres of state forests, expand the current Office of Water Policy into the Office of Water and Energy Policy, establish programs for students to uncover Florida’s natural state, and work to ensure the future of Florida’s pristine environment and water supply,” Putnam said.
