Tampa, FL – Fowler White Boggs is pleased to announce that Amelia M. Campbell, a shareholder in the firm’s Trusts and Estates Group, has been elected President of the Athena Society.
Founded in 1976, the Athena Society is dedicated to creating a forum for interaction and collaboration and to improving the status of women through equality, broader acceptance of women in business, the professions, and other positions of responsibility, and expanded educational and career development opportunities.
Ms. Campbell practices in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration and business succession planning. She counsels clients on a wide range of financial issues involving federal and state taxation, preservation of wealth, family limited partnerships, insurance planning, charitable planning, and estate planning considerations that affect closely held businesses. Ms. Campbell is AV peer review rated by Martindale-Hubbell. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Sewanee and her J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Her distinctions include being named in Best Lawyers in America - 2006-2013, Florida Super Lawyers - 2007-2013 and Top 50 Florida Female Super Lawyers in 2012 and 2013.
