Cardiac Kids Foundation Hosts Annual Car Show Supporting Children in Need
The Cardiac Kids Foundation of Florida is hosting the Annual Little Hearts Car, Bike and Truck show at Quaker steak and lube in Pinellas park. There will be trophies for finalist, a band, crafts for the kids and 15 percent of any food or drink purchased at the restaurant.
Pinellas Park, Fl-11/2/2012 The Cardiac Kids Foundation of Florida will host the 4th Annual Little Hearts Car, Truck, and Bike show at the Pinellas Park Quaker Steak and Lube on November 10th.
The Cardiac Kids Foundation will feature the local band Ries Brothers. 15 percent of all Quaker Stake and Lube checks will be donated to the foundation. Judges award trophies for best car and best truck or bike. Special trophies include “survivor’s choice”, picked by our child survivors.
The Foundation provides assistance to families and their children with heart disease. “Having had a child born with congenital heart defects, I learned firsthand the impact this has on an entire family. Overnight, our lives were turned upside down.” said Co-Founder Marlee Huggins.
Registration for cars, trucks, and bikes run from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Pre-registration is $15 for cars and trucks, bikes costing $10.Trophies are awarded at 2 p.m. with the winner of the Chinese Auction announcement at 1 p.m.
