TAMPA, Fla. (February 15, 2012) – St. Joseph’s Hospital-North in Lutz plans to offer the community a three-month course to help those at risk for developing chronic illnesses.
Students can learn how to take an active role in managing their health. The course will teach tips for lifestyle changes to lower the risk for chronic illnesses such as diabetes or heart disease.
The course starts with a mandatory meet and greet information session on Monday, February 20, 7 – 8:30 p.m. in the Garden Lobby Classroom at St. Joseph’s Hospital-North. The first class will be held on March 5 and ends May 21. Cost is $60. Registration and payment is available online and by phone.
