FUNDRAISING EVENT CELEBRATING TAMPA BAY’s TRAVEL INDUSTRY RETURNS NOV. 9

The Hospitality Industry gives back to the industries Future workforce

WHAT:           ExTRAVELganza (http://www.extravelganza.org/)

 ExTRAVELganza is a project of the Tampa Bay Hospitality Alliance partnership that includes members of the Hillsborough County Hotel & Motel Association and the Pinellas Chapter of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association, the industry gives back as industry partners donate packages from through out Florida, the United States and Internationally, 100’s of items are available at incredible prices through silent and live auction.

Chairman Dannette Lynch “states we have stays in Malaysia, Iceland, California, Tenn., and IL. and right here in our  own state from the Keys to Destin. This year we have two very special packages one a 7 day Holland America Cruise and Edelweiss roundtrip air with stay in Switzerland.  The tours of Taste has become a very popular addition to the event as standees have the opportunity to partake in food samplings from local Chefs.

Anyone who has a”taste for travel” may attend to support the local hospitality industry by helping to raise money for scholarships awarded to students majoring in hospitality management or the culinary arts. Nearly $800,000 worth of scholarships have been awarded to date.

WHEN:          Nov. 9, 7 – 10 p.m.

TICKETS:     $60 per person and $500 per corporate table (reserved seating for 10 plus corporate signage). Price includes admission, wine and spirit tastings, foods prepared by chefs from local restaurants and resorts and complimentary valet parking.
