Wayne Cheng, M.D. has joined The Heart & Vascular Institute of Florida. Dr. Cheng will be seeing patients in the Countryside office located at 1840 Mease Drive, Suite 200 in Safety Harbor and in the Trinity office located at 2102 Trinity Oaks Blvd. Suite 202, New Port Richey.
The physicians of The Heart & Vascular Institute of Florida are pleased to announce that Wayne Cheng, M.D. has joined the practice. Dr. Cheng received his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia.
His fellowship in cardiology was completed at Shands Jacksonville Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Cheng is board certified in cardiology, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine. He is a non-invasive cardiologist with special training in echocardiography. Special interest includes treating patients with heart failure. Dr. Cheng is a member of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Cheng’s primary locations are Countryside and Trinity.
The Heart & Vascular Institute of Florida has offices in Safety Harbor, Dunedin, Clearwater, Largo and New Port Richey.
