June 8, 2011 — Miami

Edilberto Santana, 51, was being investigated for several robberies.

Shortly after noon, police spotted him in a white Toyota. They tried to pull him over but he would not stop. Police said that Santana drove into a cul-de-sac and ran from the car into nearby woods. He left behind a female passenger.
