The shooting of Harold Roudebush started when Karyn Hill called 911 and said Roudebush claimed he would commit suicide because of their break up.

Three Lake County sheriff's deputies arrived at Lady Lake Mobile Home Park where Roudebush, 54, lived. They called Roudebush and told him to come out unarmed. Roudebush came out and went back inside, then exited through a north-side door into a screened room around 6 p.m. and put a handgun under his chin.
