Ways to make your home sip, not guzzle, water

The average household of 2.5 residents in the Tampa Bay area used 220 gallons of water per day from October 2007 through September 2008, according to Tampa Bay Water. That figure was down slightly from the previous calendar year ending September 2007, when the average household used 231 gallons. This statistic includes potable water only, not reclaimed or well water. See how the figures break down, below.
