Former psychologist who had sex with a patient still open for business
Dr. Daniel Lerom had his license as a psychologist suspended by the state in mid-January after an investigation found he had had sex with a patient and falsely billed her insurer for "special consults." In mid-May, the state accepted Lerom's voluntary relinquishment of his license as discipline and he can no longer practice as a psychologist. But Lerom neglected to tell at least one longtime patient who saw him for family counseling in late May and was shocked to later learn he was no longer licensed. Lerom told her he's now doing "relationship and personal life coaching." Hear his phone calls to his patient.
