Just when it looked like USF would be the one making the fourth-quarter comeback, West Virginia dealt the Bulls one final, painful come-from-behind loss, rallying for a 30-27 win to end the Bulls' season Thursday night. On a fourth and 10 with 13 seconds to go, West Virginia's Geno Smith completed a 26-yard pass to Stedman Bailey to the USF 16-yard line. After a spike, Tyler Bitancourt hit a 28-yard field goal that ricocheted off the right upright as time expired, keeping the Bulls from bowl eligibility and giving the Mountaineers a share of the Big East crown.*
