A powerful storm swept heavy winds across Tampa Bay on Jan. 25, dropping hail and toppling trees, roofs and power lines. Meteorologists reported 60-mph gusts blowing between Spring Hill and Davis Islands, and quarter- to nickel-sized hail dropped in Brooksville and western Pasco County.
