When you visit Florida

Thousands of delegates to the Republican National Convention will be coming to Tampa, FL., and the Tampa Bay Times and are covering RNC events, theme parks, attractions, restaurants, beaches and nightclubs that Republican National Convention delegates can look forward to when they convene.

Some of these Republican delegates might not be familiar with where Tampa Bay is on a Florida map. That's where we aim to help. Our Florida gulf coast beach playground is the perfect spot for those visiting Florida and looking for things to do in Tampa Bay. In fact, that's why we have this list of the top things to do or see in Tampa Bay. They can click through the photos to find out more information before they plan their visit to Florida.

Tampa Bay is also conveniently located near Orlando, the Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios and other Florida theme parks. So go ahead and plan that trip to Tampa Bay, then head for Disney World.

Best of all, Tampa Bay has everything you could want on a Florida vacation: great theme parks, beautiful gulf coast beaches, world-class art museums (including the Dali Museum), great seafood restaurants and steakhouses, upscale shopping and fun local bars with live music.
