Hernando County Animal Shelter receives bomb threats, death threats

The Brooksville Police Department was dispatched to the Hernando County Animal Control Services in reference to a possible bomb threat and threats to do harm and commit murder against employees of the Hernando County Animal Control Services.

Several employees received the threats left on their agency voice mail when they arrived at work this morning. The threats ranged from bombing the business, to inflicting serious bodily injury, to murder of the employees in retaliation for the animal that had been euthanized.
