Seized animals available for adoption

On February 10, 2012, Authorities seized 22 dogs and several other animals from Cynthia Cuervo, of Town 'N Country, due to the deplorable conditions of her home.

Cuervo was under court order not to be in possession of any animals. The dogs, as well as a cat, rabbit and birds seized from Cuervo are available for adoption through Hillsborough County Animal Services on Valentines Day. The animals are available for an adoption, with a fee which includes neutering and spaying, microchipping, vaccinations and a health check. The $200 fee is slightly higher than normal, but the funds will help pay for rehabilitation for dogs seized from the property that need medical treatment.
