A Coral Gables architect who has pitched plans to restore the historic Belleview Biltmore to its former grandeur has a contract to purchase the 115-year-old hotel. Richard Heisenbottle said he and his team plan to restore virtually all of the landmark hotel, which has been closed since the summer of 2009. Plans include building a new 153-room east wing and restoring the historic Magnolia, Palm and Sunset Cottages.
