Shark Bite Challenge and Paddlefest on Honeymoon Island

The boat race event is part of the park's annual Island EarthDays events held Saturday, April 14, 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday, April 15, 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday's outrigger canoe races were held on an eight-mile course and featured top Florida paddling teams. Sunday's events will feature surf skis, sea kayak, sit on top kayaks, stand up paddleboard, and prone paddleboard race events. Other water events will include eco tours, paddling clinics, lessons and paddle fishing in addition to the Island Earthdays' terrestrial activities.
