Rescued all over againIn a warehouse on the west side of Jacksonville a team of veterinarians from around Florida and the country is tending to 636 cats that were rescued from the Caboodle Ranch, a sanctuary that was for many of them a death trap. The rescue was the largest the ASPCA had ever undertaken from one facility. Wracked with contagious respiratory ailments and untreated wounds, many of the cats had been denied medical care for weeks by the owner of the ranch, who has been charged with multiple counts of animal cruelty.
