Florida voters respond to presidential poll

As part of our ongoing coverage of election year 2012, the Tampa Bay Times has partnered with several other media groups to poll Florida voters on a number of issues. Mason-Dixon Polling & Research, a nonpartisan, Jacksonville-based company, asked Floridians a number of questions about the Florida presidential primary on Jan. 31, the U.S. Senate primary and the general election this fall that will pit a GOP nominee against incumbent President Barack Obama. In addition, we asked voters their positions on gambling and casinos in the state and texting while driving.
