Rays spring training tickets go on sale Friday

Team is offering an insiders pre-sale, several discounted games.

The Rays will put single-game tickets for their 17 spring training home dates in Port Charlotte on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via raysbaseball.com.

Subscribers to the team Insider newsletter can participate in a pre-sale event on Thursday. Sign-up for Insider access ends at noon Wednesday; see raysbaseball.com/newsletter.

Sales will be conducted only through the team website until Jan. 26, when tickets also will be available by phone (888-FAN-RAYS) and at the Charlotte Sports Park box office.

The Rays are offering several discounts.

Under the Salute to Service program, military members, teachers and first responders can get tickets in certain seating areas to five games, including the Feb. 22 opener, for $10 via raysbaseball.com/specials. Fans 60 and older can purchase seats in certain areas for $15 to three games, also via raysbaseball.com/specials. Tickets in three- and six-game packs are being sold starting at $44.

Also, tickets to the March 26 exhibition at Tropicana Field vs. Detroit will be sold for $15 with general admission seating.
