Rays going old school with Devil Rays uniforms for four games this season

The throwback uniforms were popular when worn during last year’s 20th anniversary celebration.

The Rays are planning to return to their colorful Devil Rays past by wearing the rainbow-accented uniforms for four Saturday games this season:

May 11 vs. Yankees

June 15 vs. Angels

Aug. 17 vs. Tigers

Sept. 21 vs. Red Sox

The Rays reintroduced the Devil Rays uniforms and related merchandise during last season’s 20th anniversary celebration to a good reception, so it’s not surprising they are continuing with that idea, the only difference being the 20th anniversary patch won’t be on there.
