COLUMBUS — Nikita Kucherov doesn’t have much to say about his suspension.

The Lightning’s leading scorer will miss Sunday’s Game 3, suspended one game for boarding Markus Nutivarra.

“It’s sucks,” he said Sunday morning.

Asked about the hearing, the hit and what he said to his teammates, Kucherov had no further comment.

The timing couldn’t be much worse as Tampa Bay has been drastically outplayed the last five periods and unable to put anything together offensively.

As for what the Lightning needs to do to get back in this series, Kucherov said win a game.

In Kucherov’s absence, Ryan Callahan returns to the lineup, finally healthy after being hurt in the regular-season finale.
