OAKLAND, Calif. — Scott Kazmir shut out his former team into the eighth inning in his A's debut in the first game of a day-night doubleheader. Alberto Callaspo hit a two-run homer and Yoenis Cespedes, Jed Lowrie and Brandon Moss added RBI hits to back Kazmir, a former Rays All-Star who allowed three hits and no walks and struck out five. Corey Kluber lost for the first time in 13 starts since June 27.
