OAKLAND, Calif. — Coco Crisp and Matt Carson hit solo home runs to back Brett Anderson and lift the Athletics. Anderson won for the first time in five starts since Aug. 4. He ended a four-game skid that matched his career worst. Crisp homered in the first, Oakland's first leadoff homer of the season. It was the third leadoff home run of Crisp's career and first since Aug. 18, 2003, against the Rays.
