The setup: In the past several days, Ryan Newman and Jeff Gordon got into the Chase for the Championship and Martin Truex was booted out thanks to NASCAR rulings. What, you thought the field was supposed to be set at Richmond? Newman got a reprieve but we'll see how his Stewart-Haas team, which he's leaving at the end of the season, responds after Newman called out his pit crew on ESPN last weekend after the race when he thought he'd missed the Chase.
