No one can explain why we can't ever bunt a runner over. Why Maddon doesn't have the Rays try at least, is a different story. Luckily, he stood there looking like he wasn't really sure he was at a game, & the players pulled it out.

Bob, The Rays win 55% of the time when Maddon doesn't have to think. They lose 90% of the time when he gets "fluid" in his thinking. Success = Maddon staying out of the way. Failure = Maddon trying to manage.

Can someone explain to me what Madden was thinking in the ninth and tenth innings on Friday night. Leadoff man on and he does nothing to try to move them over. Yes they won but with no help from Madden. Thankfully the team played outstanding ball

I think we have seen the Rays turn the corner in the last week. They are growing up and transitioning into a fine baseball team. Although the play on the field is becoming outstanding the managing still leaves a lot to be desired. 9 & 10 frida
