The reset button: Scott Kazmir said the All-Star break gave him a chance to hit the "reset button," as he tries to reclaim his early season form after going 1-4 in his past seven starts (4.97 ERA). He is 4-1 at home with a 1.96 ERA.

Rough starts: Dana Eveland has struggled in the first inning his past three starts but was tough against the Rays earlier this season, throwing his first complete game (one run, three hits).

Trade winds: A's LF Matt Murton and closer Huston Street have been rumored to be potential trade targets for the Rays.
