Watch for

Kaz on track: Scott Kazmir, who has won three of his past 13 starts, has fared well against the Sox, going 3-1 lifetime with a 3.08 ERA. That includes tossing seven scoreless innings May 31 in a matchup with Javier Vazquez.

Special K: Vazquez is fourth in the AL in strikeouts (159) and is on a roll. The right-hander is 3-1 with a 2.48 ERA in his past four starts. In his career, he is 5-3, 4.28 in 11 outings against the Rays.
