Find yourself in this massive Gigapan photo of Tropicana Field on Rays opening day

Published April 2, 2017

Tampa Bay Times photographer Luis Santana captured this Gigapan image of Tropicana Field during the Tampa Bay Rays opening day win over the New York Yankees. Pinch, if you're on a touch screen device, or click, if you're on a desktop, to zoom in.

Were you there? If you, or someone you know, was in the stands on Sunday, you'll probably be able to find them by zooming in on these massive Gigapan, or gigapixel panoramas, which took 264 16 megapixel photos from a Canon 1D Mk4 and stitched them together into one image.

Each of the Gigapan images took more than 20 minutes to shoot, and almost 30 minutes to stitch together. The final image is 2007 megapixels (or 73228 x 27416 pixels).
