Going camo — on the field

The Rays sported camo gear for fun on the flight to Baltimore, but they will wear it for real Monday, as MLB has teams in caps and jerseys trimmed with USMC trademarked Digital Camo for Memorial Day. The items are already for sale on, with all net proceeds to the Welcome Back Veterans group.

Tweets of the day

At 12:50 Tuesday, injured Rays pitcher David Price posted on @DAVIDprice14: "I don't know what to do with myself!!!! Miserable...I'm gonna just fly myself to Toronto and sit in the stands to cheer today and tomorrow"

At 12:56, the folks running the Tampa airport account, @FlyTPA, posted: "The next nonstop flight to Toronto is @WestJet at 1:55pm. Can you get here in an hour?"

Quote of the day

"All's I want to do is help this team win and it feels like I'm doing the complete opposite."

RHP Jeremy Hellickson, who starts today.

  4. Buccaneers defense was among NFL's best when its pressure got to the QB

It doesn't matter how many times they've thrown a football. It doesn't matter how many seasons they've played. It doesn't matter whether they have a degree from Harvard or Central Florida.
