Walk this way
Rookie OF Wil Myers' 10th-inning game-winning single Saturday was the second walkoff hit of his pro career, having delivered in a similar situation while in the minors in 2011. But he has never hit a walkoff homer, not at any level in the minors, in school or youth leagues. Well, not a real one anyway. "I hit one that put us up by 10 for a 10-run rule at one time," Myers said. "But it was an inside-the-parker. And I was like 8. So I don't count that one."
