Bald moves
Manager Joe Maddon expects to be joined by dozens of players, coaches, staff, team execs, maybe even radio pregame and postgame host Neil Solondz, in shaving their heads at 11:30 a.m. today on the Charlotte Sports Park boardwalk to raise funds and awareness for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation for a second year. Fans can get their heads shaved and a T-shirt for a $100 donation. Other donations can be made online at pcfcutforacure.org or for $10 by texting "Cut" to 5055.
A bald souvenir
The same T-shirts the Rays are wearing for today's event will be sold for $15.99 — with proceeds going to charity — at the Trop, Charlotte Sports Park, Tampa team store, All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Moffitt Cancer Center and Pediatric Cancer Foundation in Tampa.
