The Rays were impressed with the extensive renovations to McKechnie Field, with the $10 million project including adding leftfield bleachers and a boardwalk surrounding the outfield. "Beautiful, outstanding job," manager Joe Maddon said. "It looks a lot like Port Charlotte now."
