Save the date

Tuesday was the 42nd anniversary of Rays minor-league pitching coordinator Dick Bosman's no-hitter for the Indians against the A's in Cleveland Stadium. Only Sal Bando reached for Oakland, and that was on Bosman's throwing error in the fourth. It remains the only time a pitcher's error was the only blemish on what would have been a perfect game.
