On Archer: Gave up just two hits in 52/3 scoreless innings in a win Friday in Anaheim, though he tied a career high with five walks. Is 1-2 with a 6.38 ERA in four career starts against the Red Sox.

On Lackey: Cming off a rough start against Detroit in which he allowed six runs (five earned) on nine hits in 51/3 innings. Has quality starts in six of nine outings this season, including going eight innings and giving up two runs against the Rays on April 29.
