Rays' Souza, Archer help out local charities

Lending a hand

OF Steven Souza Jr. is taking to the alley to help Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay. Souza is encouraging fans to join the annual Bowl For Kids' Sake fundraiser. Fans who raise at least $1,250 by Wednesday are eligible for an invitation to his VIP bowling party March 31. See for more info.

Lending another hand

RHP Chris Archer is kicking off his third year of partnering with Good Sports to donate sports equipment to youth programs Friday at Port Charlotte High. Archer will provide bats, catcher's gear, batting helmets and training equipment for the baseball and softball teams, plus some equipment for the PE program.
