Comparison of the day
The AL Cy Young Award seems likely to come down to Rays LHP David Price and Tigers RHP Justin Verlander, right. Rays manager Joe Maddon, admittedly biased, said he really doesn't think it's a tough decision for voters. "All this stuff that David has done is pretty darn impressive. You have to dig under the hood there a little bit," he said. "I think Verlander having done it before, starting the All-Star Game, obviously, that's like a sexy pick in some regards, but I really think overall David's had the better year."
