Scheming his revenge
Having had to wear a suit to the stadium for six consecutive days after losing a video game-related bet to RHP Alex Cobb (at right), LHP Matt Moore, feeling like he might have been hustled a bit, is plotting their next wager. "Maybe put him in a dress," Moore said. "I'm going to make sure I win that one."
Maybe history can repeat itself
For the first time since April 2011, the Rays this weekend will start three pitchers with losing records in a series: Alex Cobb (4-7) late Friday, Matt Moore (6-7) today and Jeremy Hellickson (5-6) Sunday. The last time was April 18-21, 2011, when they started David Price (1-2), James Shields (0-1), Wade Davis (1-2) and Jeff Niemann (0-1) against the White Sox and won three of four.
