North Suncoast baseball super seven

Times' Super Seven

1. Pasco (13-1): These are reader-interactive rankings. If the Pirates fell Thursday night at Land O'Lakes, kindly flip-flop Nos. 1 and 2.

2. Land O'Lakes (12-1):

See No. 1.

3. Nature Coast (10-3): Barely holding off Zephyrhills for the No. 3 spot. The Sharks looked awfully flat in Tuesday's 8-1 loss at Pasco, a game for which they should have been stoked.

4. Zephyrhills (11-5): The Bulldogs have won six of eight and gave Pasco

everything it wanted in a 3-1 road loss Wednesday.

5. Bishop McLaughlin

(13-1): The Hurricanes can avenge their only loss at home today against Tampa Prep — 'Canes coach Nick Rodriguez's alma mater.

6. Springstead (10-5): The Eagles have dropped three of four, but they lost to Nature Coast, Pasco and Zephyrhills.

7. Hernando (7-6): The Leopards re-enter these rankings by default — they were the only other public North Suncoast program with a winning record entering Thursday night's action.

(records through Wednesday)
