Notable: With the graduation of Darrien Mack (18.4 ppg), senior guard Alex Bodney (12.6 ppg) will try to pick up the scoring slack. The Tritons have only three seniors returning from last year's Division II region tournament team. Returners with significant playing time last season include sophomore G/F Jerrick Stevenson, junior F Malcolm Brunner Jr. and sophomore E.J. Moody.

Notable: The Tritons have already played an exhibition game at Kentucky and lost 83-35. But Eckerd doesn't play in the SEC. In the SSC, Eckerd has been improving. Top scorers Krystal Charles and Annie Armstrong graduated. Seniors Liga Vente (9.9 ppg), Amy Bucilla and Kristiana Stauere will be counted on to lead this season.
