Basketball today: Florida Gators at Georgia Bulldogs

Florida at Georgia

When/where: 3:30; Stegeman Coliseum, Athens, Ga.

TV/radio: Ch. 28; 620-AM

Records: Florida 19-5, 6-3 SEC, Georgia 9-15, 0-9.

Notable: Florida is coming off a 3-point loss at Kentucky on Tuesday. And with SEC East teams LSU, Kentucky and Tennessee left to play, it can't afford to stumble against a Georgia team that's winless since Dec. 31 and reeling from the recent firing of its coach. … The Gators, who won 83-57 on Jan. 28, seek to sweep the series for the fifth consecutive season. … Despite missing three last-second free throws against Kentucky, sophomore Nick Calathes continues to be the bright spot. He has scored 15 or more points in 20 games, including the past 12. With his career-high 33 against the Wildcats, he went over 1,000 for his career.
