Notable: Florida travels to Cincinnati and will play on New Year's Eve for the first time since 1968. …During the past seven games, Florida has held opponents to 53.7 points per game, allowing only one to reach 60. But the Gators have not reached 70 points in seven games. … Although Gs Kenny Boynton and Erving Walker have been streaky, in the past three games, they have combined for 30 points per game, nearly half of the Gators' total points. … Xavier went 26-9 last season, advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament (losing to Kansas State in double overtime) and shared the Atlantic 10 regular-season title with Temple.
