College basketball preview: FSU at N.C. State

.TONIGHT

Florida State at North Carolina State

When/where: 7; PNC Arena, Raleigh, N.C.

TV/radio: ESPN2; 1040-AM

Records: FSU 14-11, 6-6 ACC; N.C. State 18-7, 7-5

Notable: The high-scoring Wolfpack has won two straight after a three-game skid that knocked it out of the AP poll. … N.C. State struggled to put away Virginia Tech 90-86 in overtime on Saturday. Four of its starters played 40-plus minutes in that game. … The Seminoles snapped their own two-game skid Saturday, but not impressively, nipping Boston College 69-66. … FSU is a perhaps surprising 3-3 in ACC road games.
