College basketball preview: USF at Bradley

. Tonight

USF at Bradley

When/where: 8, Carver Arena, Peoria, Ill.

Radio: 98.7-FM

Records: USF 8-4, Bradley 5-7

Notable: PG Anthony Collins (knee), who didn't play in either of the Bulls' defeats in Las Vegas, officially is day to day. With the American Athletic Conference opener against Memphis three days away, don't expect much more than a cameo from Collins tonight. … The Bulls are 4-3 in their last seven contests, all decided by five or fewer points. They were 9-for-24 from the free-throw line in Monday's 66-65 loss to Santa Clara. … Senior Victor Rudd is averaging a double double (18.6 ppg, 10.2 rpg) over his last five games. … Bradley, loser of five in a row, has been woeful (27.2 percent) from 3-point range. Then again, some poor-shooting teams have been known to flourish against USF (see FAMU).
