Notable: This is the final nonconference game for the Gators, who open SEC play Saturday at home against Ole Miss. … It's the first meeting between the Gators and Longwood, which returns two starters from last season. … The Lancers are led by junior guard/forward Dana Smith, the team's leading scorer (15.7) and rebounder (6.1). … Forcing 19.7 turnovers per game, the Lancers enter the game coming off a win over George Washington. … Florida has won 15 nonconference home games in a row and is 40-1 at home during nonconference play during the past four seasons.
